STEP Project Explores Use of Augmented Reality Technology to Help Students Understand Science

Ever wonder what it’s like to be a bee? Primary students have been learning about insects and their role in the ecosystem. Out in the field (literally!) and using motion tracking computers indoors, they explore the needs of a hive, insect communication and pollination. It’s part of a project by CONNECT researchers who are working with UCLA Lab School students and teachers to understand how technology-enhanced play can help children learn science.
