UCLA Lab School Stands Together with the Black Community Calling for Equality, Respect and Justice

UCLA Lab School stands together with the Black community calling for equality, respect and justice.

“The senseless death of George Floyd is part of a long history of systemic racism and violence in our country. Now more than ever, UCLA Lab School and schools across the nation must serve as strongholds where children are explicitly taught about our country’s past, with all of its shames and strengths. Our children, with our guidance, will be the leaders to fight injustices and racism in a positive and constructive way. It is our responsibility, as their protectors and guardians, to teach our children what is right and what is wrong.”

– Dr. Georgia Ann Lazo, Principal
