Extended Day Program

For ages 4-12 entering grades K-6 in the Fall
Teacher: EDP Staff
The Extended Day Program offers a longer day option for students. Extended Day starts right after the morning session and runs until 3:00 pm or 5:30 pm, depending on the option you choose.

The daily activities are tailored to fit the different age groups and include arts and crafts projects such as jewelry making, fuse beads, weaving, woodworking, paper airplanes, slime, cooking, ceramics and many more. There are a variety of games available during inside play, such as Nok-Hockey, Foosball, air hockey, and plenty of board games. We also offer outdoor activities including organized sports and games (basketball, handball, capture the flag), water play, bubbles, sand building, dancing, tricycles, and use of playground equipment. For younger children, we encourage imaginative free play, with lots of LEGOs, blocks, cars, dolls, and dress-up materials for inspiration.

The students are placed in groups of 20-25 children. These groups do not correspond with summer school classes. Siblings are not usually grouped together. If you would like your child to be with a friend or sibling of similar age, please request it on your application. We are usually unable to make changes once Summer School begins.
