ASL Through Music
Ages 6-10 years, entering grades 1-5 in the fall
A fun, creative way for kids to learn American Sign Language!
In this 4-week class, students will explore American Sign Language through music, movement, and expressive play. Each week, children learn new ASL vocabulary—such as greetings, feelings, animals, colors, and weather—while signing along to kid-friendly songs. Through rhythm, storytelling, and hands-on activities, students build confidence in their signing skills and develop stronger communication, coordination, and self-expression.
Children will:
• Learn beginner ASL vocabulary and phrases
• Sign along to age-appropriate songs
• Practice expressive facial grammar and storytelling
• Build rhythm and coordination through movement
• Work together toward a fun mini performance
This class is perfect for children who love music, movement, or learning new languages—no ASL experience required!
