Registration for our next session
begins February 2018

Your child can perform in a musical, explore architecture, cook a story or grow a garden of friends. These are just some of the fun and exciting experiences our program offers.

Taught by UCLA Lab School faculty, our classes are designed to actively involve children in the learning process. They provide a boost in science, math, reading, writing, social studies and art, all in the context of a nurturing, caring and fun environment. Our campus adds to the enjoyment by offering a relaxing, natural setting, with play yards and even a Redwood Forest. Sports Camp and Extended Day continue the fun with plenty of time to play, learn new skills and enjoy friends.

Many of our families return year after year!

Activities are tailored to the different age groups and include arts and crafts projects such as beading, weaving, painting, woodworking, paper airplanes and ceramics. Outdoor time includes organized sports and games (basketball, handball, capture the flag), water play, bubbles and sand building. We have wonderful indoor games too, such as Nok-Hockey, Foosball, air hockey and plenty of board games. There is also time for imaginative free play, with lots of LEGOs, blocks, cars, dolls and dress-up materials for inspiration.

Groups

The children are grouped in classes of 20 to 25 students according to age. These groups do not correspond with summer school classes. Siblings are not usually grouped together. If you would like your child to be with a friend or sibling of similar age, please request it on your application. We are usually unable to make changes once Summer School begins.
