For ages 4-5 entering PK-K in the Fall

Students will be able to:
- Make new friends
- Develop social skills
- Create masterpieces using a variety of art materials
- Read picture books that connect to the weekly theme
- Sing new songs
- Explore the outdoor environment
- Learn to work cooperatively in small groups
- Prepare healthy snacks inspired by picture books
- Enjoy free play on the playground
- Imaginative dramatic play including building with blocks
- Develop social skills
Every day will be filled with a variety of activities that promote oral language, early reading skills, songs, art, storytelling, and fun!
Art activities will include collage, clay, drawing, and painting. Each week there will be a theme that will integrate literature, art, and play to build our classroom community.
